Quality Database (QDB)

The Quality Database supports the structured communication related to quality issues between MAGNA Powertrain and their suppliers - covering issues from Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), supplier complaints with structured solutions, to supplier assessment. In addition, the system is also used for the processing of customer complaints, internal problem solving and audits. |

With the help of Quality Database, internal staff can propose suggested improvements that can then be assessed via a defined, multi-step workflow.
In the new module process descriptions, all information referring to processes are administered and published via the Intranet directly after they are released.
Quality Database was developed by JAWA in cooperation with MAGNA POWERTRAIN.

Creation and administration of process descriptions with all relevant information such as areas of relevance, contents, scope, activities, responsible organisational units, customer processes, support processes, requirements, resources, reviews, input/output, norms, key figures, risks as well as links to further documents. Generation of graphic overviews (process-maps, turtle-diagrams) as well as workflow describing the release process and the automatic publication of the various items in the relevant areas on the Intranet.
